We are Russ and Maggie at Honyock Homestead, where we are dedicated to documenting our homestead journey on our almost 5 acre property; while focusing on sustainable, ethical, and humane practices. Our hand-crafted gifts are made with thought and care, ensuring the person receiving them will delight in their use. Our mission is to provide a glimpse into the beauty of farm life while promoting sustainability and animal welfare. We’re getting ready to share a whole lineup of handmade, homegrown goods from the homestead — herbals, soaps, salves, balms, bath teas, tallow creations, candles, crochet work, and more. All crafted with intention, right here at home.
Right now, we’re focused on the basics that matter most: learning deeply about our livestock and giving them everything they need (plus plenty of enrichment), getting our garden and orchard established and protected from our very enthusiastic free-range foragers, and building our skills in the areas where we’re still beginners.
Step by step, we’re laying the groundwork for everything we hope this homestead will become.
